@Miranda – the first step is often the hardest one. You’re right we often overthink things or we say we need to wait until ____(fill in the blank with your favorite excuse) – but just getting started helps tremendously.

Great Tips. For some people its work to do it. They themselves are not good managers of money or have self-control. So maybe putting it in the hands of a professional, ie. financial advisor would be the best choice. Have anything in your articles about how to choose a good financial advisor?

These are great tips. I especially think it’s important to start now. Sometimes we overthink things and put them off, but getting started immediately is important. Once you’re started, you still have time to tweak things, and make different plans.
