I think “procrastination” and “not specific with financial goals” are very intimate with one another. So intimate they even fathered an illegitimate child–financial “blah.”

I’ve seen it with my own eyes and in my own life–most of the procrastination I experience is because I haven’t defined what I need to do clearly enough, and it seems too overwhelming. In turn, I never get to it–usually breeding further problems.

Yeah, unfortunately we all suffer from a lack of self-control from time-to-time, but the bottom line is that if you really want to get ahead you have to get your control of your spending etc and put some limitations on yourself.
