But. My understanding is that Judas was one of Christ's favored apostles. That he was fulfilling the role he had to play in the prophesy of Jesus dying for man's redemption. One really must ask if the English bible we have access to have been faithfully translated. I've heard that certain translations (King James for one) is considered invalid for the purpose of scripture study.
