Submission Guidelines

What I am NOT looking for:

Debt consolidation, bankruptcy, debt negotiation, “spammy-type” posts that are only trying to hawk a product.  Please do not submit posts like this.

What I am looking for:

• Creativity - Articles that are creative, valuable and interesting to R2 readers.
• Topicality - Articles about any personal finance/money related topic – you are welcome to incorporate your faith.  
• Originality -  Content not published anywhere else.
• Brevity – Articles with less than 1,000 words! 
• Readability – Articles that are easy to read and interesting.

What to send:

• Your article with 2-4 links back to your website (no affiliate links please).
• A couple sentence bio-line at the end of the article explaining who you are with a link back to your website.
• Don’t worry about sending a picture for the post – I’ll upload a pic to fit.

A few more things:

• If your article requires a lot of editing time, is too “salesy” (read: all about you) or goes against what the Redeeming Riches mission is all about I won’t publish your post.
• I reserve full editorial and approval rights, including adding my own links to the article.
• Adjustments may be made for brevity and readability – many times this may just mean slight tweaks and title changes.
• I will send you an email letting you know when your post is “live”.
• I highly encourage you to submit the article to social sites like Tipd, PFbuzz, Digg, StumbleUpon, Twitter, etc. 
• Linking to the article from your website is allowed, encouraged and appreciated.
