Instead of a huge blogroll on the sidebar of the site, I thought I’d make a separate resource page.  These are links that I’ve found helpful, informative and/or entertaining to read and hope you do as well.

Christian Personal Finance Blogs

  • ChristianPF (@ChristianPF)- One of the original Christian money blogs and one that all other writers aspire to!  Bob does a phenomenal job of helping others Make It, Save It, Grow It, Give It! By the way, PF stands for Personal Finance.  Follow on Twitter.
  • Debt Free Adventure ( @MattJabs) – Matt Jabs is a great writer and motivator.  I really like his transparency and willingness to share many of the money mistakes he’s made to help others avoid them. 
  • Bible Money Matters (@MoneyMatters ) – Another guru in the Christian Personal Finance blogosphere.  Pete is a gifted writer and covers a lot of information.  He does his homework and you can tell in each post! 
  • Money Help For Christians ( @MH4Christians) – Craig Ford is a missionary in Papau New Guinea and has a real heart to see Christians transform the way they handle their money.  Despite having limited internet access and being busy with his mission work Craig manages to update his blog daily!
  • One Money Design ( @OneMoneyDesign) – Jason is a financial coach and is dedicated to helping people see the one design for money, God’s design.  He is passionate about fighting debt and managing money wisely in everyday life.
  • Sound Mind Investing ( @SoundMindInvest) – SMI is “America’s Premier Christian Newsletter”.  Their desire is to help Christians 1. Grow Stronger Financially; 2. Gain Confidence; 3. Get Peace of Mind; 4. Give Generously; and 5. Glorify God.
  • Debt Free Hispanic ( @DebtFree) – Fabian Ramirez and his wife got mad about their debt in September 2007 and since then have wiped out everything but the mortgage.  He blogs to help others get control of their money and to make extra money.  I love the tagline: “No Debt, Know Peace”! 
  • Provident Planning (@ProvidentPlan) – Paul over at Provident Planning is dedicated to exploring God’s Provident Plan for the personal finances of Christians.

  • Fiscal Fizzle  ( @FiscalFizzle) – Wojciech likes to spice things up by looking at money in unique ways to help shift money paradigms.
  • Fiscal Geek ( @FiscalGeek) – Paul is a self-admitted geek who has spent most of his life in debt.  Through a Dave Ramsey class held at his church he is now a geek on a mission to be debt free and blogs to help others do the same.
  • Wise Bread ( @WiseBread) – A community of bloggers that wants ”to guide a new generation of money-conscious readers—one that oozes class, loves having fun, and knows that life is exactly what you make of it (and not how much you make).”
  • Get Rich Slowly ( @jdroth) – Head of the class in personal finance blogs.  GRS was recently named the most inspiring money blog by Money magazine!
  • Man vs Debt ( @ManVsDebt) – One of the fastest up and coming money blogs on the net today!  Baker is sharp, cutting edge, witty and seemingly doesn’t stop creating new stuff everywhere!  I love the name too!
  • Len Penzo dot com ( @LenPenzo) – Len is the funniest money blogger – period!  He’s got a great combination of humor, creativity, entertainment and information regarding personal finance. 
  • Joe Taxpayer ( @JoeTaxpayerblog) – Joe use to write lengthy articles once a month.  He switched to blogging after his readership grew and began posting regularly.  I’m glad he did as he provides some great insights especially when it comes to retirement and taxes. 
  • Stumble Forward – Chris draws from his financial services experience to help others use their money wisely.  He also does a great job in warning his readers of financial scams.
  • Enemy of Debt (@EnemyofDebt) – Brad Chafee blogs his experience of fighting debt by focusing on behavior and truth.  He’s got a great testimony too!
  • Five Cent Nickel ( @fcn) - Personal finance tips, tricks, news, and commentary.

Friends’ Christian Blogs Worth Following

  • Redeeming The Time – A friend and pastor at my church, Chris Carr offers a collection of thoughts, resources, and references designed to help you make the most of your life for Jesus Christ.
  • One Thing – My friend, Jeremy Carr, who pastors Oxford Bible  Fellowship located on the campus of Miami University in Ohio.
  • All About Him - Another friend and pastor.  Steve Dewitt is the Senior Pastor at my church.  The phrase “All About Him” is kind of a theme around our church!
  • At HIS Feet - Friend and worship pastor, Dustin Rouse, leads our people in praise each week at Bethel.  He blogs about worship, theology, life, and all other things Christ-centered.
  • Vessels of Mercy – A collaborative effort among three guys: Brandon Melton, Robbie Melton, and Judson (a friend and brother-in-law to Chris and Jeremy Carr).  They love God, are commited to His truth, and are passionate for His glory.  They discuss cultural and doctrinal issues as they relate to the Body of Christ.
